Is fear turning you into a scaredy cat?
It seems that no matter where you look these days fear is all around us; newspapers, television and social media bombard us with news that can at times cause us to shrink back in fear. The result being, we miss the joy in the moment we’re in, because our minds have gone ahead into an unknown future, a future over which we have no control, no matter how much we worry.
Fear is a liar. We can either choose to consume it and be consumed by it, or we can choose to replace it with truth.
So today when you hear reports that have the potential to rob you of your peace, why not choose to stand on the word of God? That’s what I intend to do.
“The word of God, you see, is alive and moving; sharper than a double-edged sword; piercing the divide between soul and spirit, joints and marrow; able to judge the thoughts and will of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 (The Voice)
